Shabbat Shenanigans at Emanuel Synagogue (For Kids 5-12 years)
Event description
Kids know that big Jewish holidays are marked with carnivals, costumes, and crowds. Now, it's time to turn the spotlight on one our most humble—and perhaps our most important—rituals, Shabbat.
Children aged 5-12 years are invited to join us for an exciting Shabbat morning experience packed with games, stories, music, crafts and interactive learning–all designed to bring the spirit and joy of Shabbat to life. Whether your child is already familiar with Shabbat or will be introduced to its magic for the first time, this will be a welcoming and meaningful way for them to connect with Jewish life and community.
Parents are welcome to drop children off and attend the main Shabbat morning services. At the conclusion of the program, kids will rejoin the congregation for a communal kiddush.
