A night filled with tradition, story and song.
As the Shabbat Project begins and the lights of Chanukah are on the horizon, Sydney comes together the way we do best: with tradition, song and of course, each other.
The Challah Bake. Roll up your sleeves and knead, braid and bless alongside the whole community, then take your challah home for your own Shabbat table. Generously supported by JCA.
The Tish. Raise a glass at a joyful gathering of song, stories and spirituality, the way Jewish communities have welcomed Shabbat for generations.
Come to one, or move between both.
This night also falls a year on from Bondi. At both events we’ll pause together to remember those we lost, because coming together is how we carry their memory.
Then take that light home. Keep Shabbat this weekend, all of it or as much as you can.
