Shadow Cycles Introduction workshop for Women:  
This introductory full day on line workshop is for women who might be interested in an overview of Cyclic Wisdom and how that can be related and utilised in preventing and managing Mental Health issues. the workshop will cover: 

Introduction to the Science and Spirit of the Cycles: Including the directions, the diurnal cycle, seasonal cycle, ancient Sabbats, Lunar cycle, menstrual cycle and a woman's Life Cycle. An overview of Shadow Cycles, how this relates to Mental health, Western medicine and Resources.

Participation in this workshop, or in one of my previous Shadow Cycles workshops or in a Moonsong workshop through the School of Shamanic Womancraft (www.schoolofshamanicwomancraft... ) is a requirement to participate in any of the ongoing Shadow Cycle workshops which will address particular aspects of the Cycles and various aspects of Mental Health as follows:

Shadow Cycles Day 1: 9am-4.30pm Friday 7th May 2021 (Time of Samhain) The South of the Wheel /the Crone/ Winter/Dark & New Moon:  Part 1:  Letting Go. The Shadow: Issues of Ageing, Grief and Death.

Shadow Cycles Day 2: 9am-4.30pm Friday 18th June 2021 (Time of Winter Solstice) The South of the Wheel /the Crone/ Winter/Dark & New Moon Part 2:  Conception. The Shadow: Issues of Chronic Pain, Loss and Unwelcome Change.

Shadow Cycles Day 3: 9am-4.30pm Friday 6th August 2021 (Time of Imbolc) The East of the Wheel /the Maiden/ Spring/ Waxing Moon Part 1: Planting the Seeds of Life. The Shadow: Issues of Identity and Differentiation.

Shadow Cycles Day 4: 9am-4.30pm Friday 24th September 2021 (Time of Spring Equinox) The East of the Wheel /the Maiden/ Spring/ Waxing Moon Part 2: Growing the Seeds of Life. The Shadow: Issues of Purpose.

Shadow Cycles Day 5: 9am-4.30pm Friday 5th November 2021 (Time of Beltaine) The North of the Wheel /the Mother / Summer/ Full Moon Part 1: Growth to Fullness. The Shadow: Issues of Being a Woman; Issues of Gender/Sexuality.

Shadow Cycles Day 6: 9am-4.30pm Friday 17th December 2021 (Time of Summer Solstice) The North of the Wheel /the Mother /Summer/ Full Moon Part 2: First Harvest. The Shadow: Issues of Relationship and Parenting.

Shadow Cycles Day 7: 9am-4.30pm Friday 4th February 2022 (Time of Lammas) The West of the Wheel /the Maga/ Autumn/ Waning Moon Part 1:  Harvest & Menopause. The Shadow: Issues of Mood Management: Anxiety, Depression, Addictions.

Shadow Cycles Day 8: 9am-4.30pm Friday 25th March 2022 (Time of Autumn Equinox) The West of the Wheel /the Maga/ Autumn/ Waning Moon Part 2:  Harvest & Menopause. The Shadow: Issues of Menopause.

Shadow Cycles Days 9 &10: 9am-4.30pm Friday & Saturday 6th & 7th May 2022 9(Time of Samhain) The Centre of the Wheel /Where light and dark, birth and death, joy and sorrow meet as one. The Centre of Creativity. The Shadow: Trauma and it's influence on Mental health. 

These workshops can be attended for personal and/or professional development. Bookings for any or all of these workshops will be separately advertised and any or all workshops can be attended (at this stage, it is planned that they will be on line) as long as the required introductory workshop (as described above) has been completed.

About the facilitator: 

Katherine Cailleach Howard is an accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Psychodramatist, and Teacher with the School of Shamanic Womancraft. She has 40 years of experience as a consultant occupational therapist, counsellor and group therapist. She specialises in counselling for women's life transitions and relationship counselling.
