Madhu Honey

Renowned for her magnetic stage presence and depth of soul, Madhu Honey combines her skills as a Performance Artist, Healer & Workshop Facilitator to create immersive sensory experiences that awaken, seduce and evoke her participants.

Also an Artistic Director and InBodied Therapist with 20 years experience in the movement arts field, Madhu has been weaving performances, workshops, events and ceremonies both informed and inspired by her extensive studies in Movement and Dance Therapy, Contemporary Dance, Physical Theatre, Butoh, BMC, Yoga, Body Weather, Counselling and Coaching. 

With a depth of embodied understanding Madhu has taken these practices and weaved ritual and ceremony to the mix as she delivers a plethora of sacred  works. Pieces that express the human tension between the physical and spiritual realms. Her art explores the depths of human feeling, presence and passion to spontaneity and play, with a fierce devotion with e'motion, to transmuting suffering into beauty and liberation. 

With a divinely aligned invitation into the initiations of death and women’s mysteries at a young age, Madhu walks with a wealth of wisdom and experience in her bones. An initiated modern day priestess, wild woman, mother, partner and earth~stewardess.   

it is with deep honour and devotion that Madhu holds sacred space for woman worldwide, guiding our hearts home through initiations of the Shakti Temple. Joining global sisters in the rise of the feminine to claim back what is our birthright.
