Shamanic Dimensions of Pregnancy

How we choose to birth our children is of vital importance, a sacred experience that will influence the rest of their lives, and our own.

This workshop is ideal for all pregnant women, women considering pregnancy, birth workers and birth keepers; and for women birthing themselves & their lives in whatever form!

Birth is our first Rite of Passage, and initiates us into our Self. It is the start of our life cycle, and therefore influences how we are in the world, every moment of every day.

How do you birth things? What is your Birth Story?.

This workshop focuses on the shamanic dimensions of pregnancy. This is a world view which describes the multidimensional interconnection of all things. There is always more going on around pregnancy and birth than we 'think' we know; this workshop offers a unique opportunity to do the inner work required for a sacred and empowering birth.

With prior preparation contemplating life experiences, women will undertake shamanic processes to understand all that they bring to Birth.

During the day you will be guided to:

• Reflect on your own birth imprint and how it affects how you birth your life, your projects, your art, your babies and yourself.
• Examine beliefs, personal story and expectations around birth
• Understand the current culture around birth and how to navigate it
• Reinstate birth as a powerful, trustworthy and natural rite of passage.
  
• Access insights and healing so you are well prepared for whatever shows up during pregnancy, birth and motherhood
• Let go of fears, anxiety and inner obstacles
• Drum Journey inward to connect with your baby, your body (or soul-baby, creative project or Inner Divine Feminine) to seek guidance, clarity and information

Workshop preparation and reading materials to support the content of the day will be provided on registration. 

Morning and afternoon teas are provided. Please bring your own lunch and water bottle.
