Event description

Come and join Ashley from Akuna Flow and make your own Shamanic Medicine Drum.
Your drum is birthed in ceremony as it is a sacred tool for personal use.
The drum is a amplifier of intent, it has the power to heal, transform and transport us to new dimensions of our spirit.
Through the step by step process of drum making you will gain insights and clarity from within.
Focus your energy and intent as Ashley guides you through the creation of a very powerful healing tool, one of the most powerful tools a shamanic practitioner/healer can use to effect change and well-being for him/her self or others.

What to expect:

The day begins with ceremonial clearing with smoke ( if not a fan of smoke Ashley can use feathers instead)

You will learn about where the wood for the hoop has come from and also where the hide has come from.

The hoops were going to be using are steam bent in the traditional old way by hand by a master craftsmen.

The hide being used has being hand prepared by myself no chemicals used in its creation and i will explain the process it goes through to get it to the rawhide state, so you understand where your medicine has come from.

You will go on a journey to connect to the spirit of the animal & the tree giving thanks and gratitude for their giveaway and bringing all of their spirits together as one.

You will be using a 16” round hoop, and you will be using Deer Hide

You will be guided by Ashley & his wife Anthea and will create your very own medicine Drum.
