How do I request accessibility services?

Accessibility services are available to book from 27th November 2025 - 1st July 2026 via the Accessibility Application Form on the Shambala website. Attendees should secure an event ticket first, then use the application form to request additional tickets and services. We ask for applications to be made before the 1st of July 2026 so that we can plan for the infrastructure and services required. We will do our best to accommodate applications after this date but cannot guarantee there will be space in the ACA, camper van fields or accessible parking area remaining. Most services must be booked in advance in particular: - Tickets for pitches in the Accessible Camping Area - Accessible parking car passes - BSL Interpretation - PA tickets (adult) - Free Shambala Express tickets On-site, customers who have not booked services can attend an accessibility hub and find support with large print programmes, radar key hire and access to sensory spaces.

Free vehicle tickets and personal assistant tickets for eligible attendees

Shambala recognises that attending events can be expensive and that affordability is a significant barrier for many with accessibility needs to come. So we offer up to two free vehicle tickets (or a Shambala Express ticket) and a PA ticket for eligible attendees. Vehicle Tickets: Free Accessible Camper Van ticket (max 8m in length) for ACA or other campsites Free Accessible Parking ticket (max 5 in length) Free Personal Assistant ticket Attendees wanting to claim free tickets should apply via the Accessibility Application form in November and need to evidence they: receive Middle or Higher Rate DLA receive Personal Independence Payment (PIP) receive Attendance Allowance have a Nimbus Access Card have a recognised Assistance Dog ID Card have a certificate of visual impairment are registered as d/Deaf We encourage use of Nimbus Access Cards where possible. Please note you do not have to purchase standard tickets of these types to exchange or 'upgrade'.

How accessible is the festival site?

Please see our website accessibility section for full information and a social story. The main entertainment areas are generally flat, grassed areas, which can be muddy dependent on weather. There is limited trackway and hardstanding around the arena edge. The Enchanted Woods has rougher ground between the trees and the Meadow area features longer grass. There is an incline to general camping fields and general and family camper van fields. There are accessible toilets located across the site and all campsites, which are marked on the public map. Many of the 30+ stages and activities are inside various structures. Large stages have raised viewing platforms. Smaller venues with live performances feature stewarded accessible viewing areas. We have two sensory spaces and an accessibility hub in the main arena. We hope to have hearing loops in key information positions at the event in 2026.
