Event description

What is SHARE?

SHARE is a network for people who work with young people around sexual health and relationships education. SHARE aims to provide regular support, through regular forums, so workers can better support and educate the young people they work with. SHARE forums are an opportunity for professionals to come together and discuss emerging information, share sector and organisation updates, and present new resources.

What is the topic for this SHARE forum?

The November 2025 SHARE Forum will be an end of year wrap up.

The forum will include:

  • Dr Sam, SHQ Medical Director, presenting on positive outcomes from opportunistic sexual health testing at community events.

  • Presentations from external organisations celebrating their success stories from the year.

There will be time allocated for attendees to share their highlights and challenges of 2025. It is also an opportunity to network and to seek support from other organisations within the sector.

Who should come?

Anyone who works with young people who wants to keep up-to-date with sexual health topics, meet others in the field and share resources.

What do I need to bring?

As this is not a formal meeting, and there will be no Minutes sent out after the event. If you would like to write any notes, you may wish to bring a note pad and pen.

We will also have a table set up for displaying any resources, handouts or information you might like to bring and share with the group.

Feedback from SHARE:

“Thanks for the great forum! Enjoy having a space to network and learn with and from others.”

“Thank you! Great to connect with community around an interesting topic :)”

"It was my first time coming to SHARE and it was very beneficial. Also extremely relevant for my work with our young people."

For any questions you have about SHARE please contact share@shq.org.au

Please note: Registration closes 24 hours before the start of the meeting.
