Share Your Story project 2026 - Women and Culture

“Women and culture “ is seeking women with a lived experience of family violence where culture as defined by you, has played a role in your story.

This IN-PERSON OR ONLINE workshop will give you an opportunity to tell your story using images, music and voice narration, but your face will not be used anywhere and identifying information will not be used unless you choose to do so by showcasing yourself or your business as part of your story.

You will be guided through a creative, collaborative process which includes recording your voice, sharing your story, and using a software program to include your own images/artworks, sounds and music, and create a finished multimedia digital story.

This workshop will be done one to one mentor process or in small groups and will be done in a non-judgemental and supportive manner.

Your digital story will be taken into exhibition, released on our website and social media platforms. You will also have a copy of your media file as a resource that you will own for your future use.

Participation includes :

1 hour in person interview or online zoom
