Share Your Unique Voice: Poetry Workshop With Janet Charman
Event description
Join a poetry workshop with a difference with award-winning West Auckland poet Janet Charman. Selections from Janet’s own extensive body of published poetry collections will be shared during this session as a springboard for developing and enhancing your own poetry writing and finding new pathways to publication. You will learn:
- how to grow your skills and confidence in writing and share your unique voice through poetry
- the benefits of exploring different publishing models and how they can help you find new audiences for your work
- how to grow your creative writing both independently and in collaboration with other writers and artists
Signed copies of Janet's most recently published works will also be available at discounted festival rates for cash sales on the day or her work can be borrowed from Auckland Council Libraries' collection.
