Event description

As part of the Shared Value Masterclass Series, this practical and interactive 2.5 hour session will demonstrate how unmet social and environmental needs can be transformed into opportunities for innovation.

Facilitated by the Shared Value Project, and Associate Partner Layusa Isa-Odidi and Partner & Asia Director Gaurav Gupta of global strategic advisory firm Dalberg Advisors, From What to How: Sparking Shared Value Innovation will help you to:

  • Move from what shared value is to how to do it - using a framework which harnesses innovation to deliver joint socio-economic results
  • Understand how shared value can drive new innovation in your organisation, through diverse examples eg. improving product design/service delivery, unlocking new customer/market segments, shifting a team's approach to problem-solving
  • Learn how to bring a shared value lens to existing innovation eg. leveraging your existing structure and capabilities
  • Familiarise yourself with well-known innovation tools (such as 'human-centred design') to enact shared value
