Sharing from the Heart 💜 A YEmpower Creative Showcase
Event description
We are honoured and thankful to be hosting our first ever creative showcase and community potluck. Join us for an evening of story sharing from the heart, with creatives from different disciplines showcasing their work created with the theme of "Sharing from the Heart".
Featuring poetry, art and music, we will be stepping into a space of heartfulness and open connection with one another. We are encouraging each individual attending to bring along a plate of food that sparks heartful connection to heart, family, culture or country. If you are attending we will send you an email with more information and next steps.
Entry is a gold coin donation and proceeds go towards covering the cost of gallery hire and the work that YEmpower Australia does for young people in our community.
YEmpower is a youth based community. Our mission is to empower young people to create paths for themselves that are fulfilling, passion-driven and full of love, purpose and empathy.
We have come together to create a community in which we can share knowledge, ideas, opportunities, networks and resources with each other.
The YEmpower community is a solution to a problem that is playing heavily on us all right now.
How can we continue to exist and build in a world without connection, community and love?
We run workshops, events and initiatives within a communal structure that encourages every person to grow and learn at their own pace. Calling on each individual to draw upon our collective skills and resources so that we may support each other to thrive and succeed.
The joyous work and playful effort that we share in our world of community, connection, experiencing and expressing, is a driving force for change in this world that we live in.
