We are honoured to host esteemed scholar Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad for the first-ever world reading of Forty Pattern-Chained (Musalsal) Hadiths from Forty Shaykhs.

The session will include a recitation in Arabic, accompanied by light English translation and commentary. Every attendee will receive a copy of Shaykh Gibril’s book along with an ijaza (authorisation) for it.

About our Honoured Guest

Shaykh Dr. Gibril Fouad Haddad, born in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1960, embraced Islam while pursuing graduate studies in French Literature at Columbia University, New York. His spiritual journey began after meeting Shaykh Hisham Kabbani and Shaykh Muhammad Nazim Adil Al-Haqqani, his guide in the Naqshbandi Sufi order.Shaykh Gibril’s dedication to Islamic scholarship led him to Damascus, Syria, where he spent over a decade studying under esteemed scholars, including his spiritual mentor, Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani. With ijazas (authorizations) from more than 150 scholars across the Islamic world, from Algeria to Yemen, he has become a renowned figure in the field of Islamic knowledge.

He is an internationally respected scholar, author, and translator, known for his clear representation of traditional Islam in the modern context. Recognized in the inaugural "500 Most Influential Muslims" list, Shaykh Gibril has lectured extensively across the globe, from Australia to South Africa, sharing his profound knowledge of the Qur'an, Hadith, Prophetic Biography (Sīra), and Sufism. Shaykh Gibril is also a contributor to eshaykh.com, a platform offering guidance on Islamic teachings and spirituality.
