In a previous unit, our students learned about OOP, the object-orientated programing paradigm. In this masterclass, we'll teach you about another way of approaching complex problems in coding - the Functional Paradigm. This paradigm revolves around treating everything as a function, instead of as an object. Come along and check it out!

William is a front-end engineer at Canva where he spends his days enhancing the mobile experience for its users. His interests include functional programming and playing around with web APIs. Outside of work, he enjoys Brazillian Juijitsu and wrangling a small white dog called Pixel.

This talk is pitched at the She Codes Plus cohorts currently partway through the React sprint. Some prior knowledge is assumed, but we welcome people from the community with an interest in this topic to join us.
