    She Maps "How to teach STEM with drones" Workshop

    This year, She Maps is visiting only 3 cities to deliver our highly-sought after teacher drone workshops! We can’t wait to have teachers flying with us at RMIT University Bundoora Campus, on 23 April 2024.This 2.5-hour course is ideal for anybody new to teaching with drones, as well as those who are already familiar with drones but want to take a pedagogical approach to teaching with drones in a safe and inclusive manner.

    What you will learn during our workshop

    • Types & application of drones in the modern workforce
    • Unconscious gender bias and the importance of inclusive language
    • Manual & coded drone flight
    • Classroom setup, student management & common tech trouble shooting

    Workshop times

    Attendees can choose one of the following sessions. Ensure you select the ticket option that reflects your choice.

    • Morning session 8.30am - 11.30pm
    • Afternoon session: 12pm - 3.00pm

    Spaces in each session are limited to 30 participants. If you are part of our Geospatial in Schools (GISP) or WISE Programs, participation in the workshop may be complementary for a capped number of teachers. Please contact us to confirm your discount. All ticket holders can cancel and request a full refund up until 14 days prior to the event date.
