📅 Thursday, 7th November 2024
📍 IDA Desert Hub Event Space - 575 Newcastle St, West Perth WA 6005
As a member of Shelter WA we invite you to join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) as we reflect on the achievements of the past year, discuss our future direction, and strengthen our commitment to addressing the challenges of housing and homelessness in Western Australia.
This year, we're excited to host the AGM at the inspiring IDA Desert Hub Event Space. The IDA Desert Hub in West Perth is a culturally appropriate meeting space designed for Indigenous land management organisations. It supports networking and collaboration among Indigenous rangers, community members, and various stakeholders involved in desert land management. The space is designed to be accessible and inclusive, ensuring that people with various needs can comfortably attend events.
Members unable to attend the AGM in person will be able to register for an online ticket. A Teams link will be sent to you in a reminder before the event.
Our AGM will include:
- Updates on key initiatives and our progress over the past year
- Hear from guest speaker Michael Piu, CEO St Patrick's Community Support Centre, Departing Vice-Chair Shelter WA Board
- Enjoy networking with like-minded individuals dedicated to making a difference in the housing sector
"From little things, big things grow."
Join Michael as he reflects on Shelter WA’s small but mighty advocacy journey and the wins over the years. He also shares what he believes might be next in the fight to end homelessness.
Enjoy the unique ambience of the IDA Desert Hub while connecting with fellow members. Light refreshments will be provided.
⏰ Registration from 4:15 pm, for a 4:30 pm start. The AGM will take place from 4.30 pm to 5.15 pm, with a member sundowner and networking to follow. Event conclusion at 6:15 pm.
