SOLD! Who Broke the Australian Dream - Sydney Screening
Event description
🌟 You’re Invited: SOLD! Who Broke the Australian Dream?
Film Screening + Panel Discussion
🎥 About the Film
Comedian Mark Humphries is sick of standing in lines for rentals. But if a C-grade celebrity is struggling to buy a house, how do normal people do it? Mark investigates Australia’s housing crisis, uncovering the policies which supercharged the housing market, the solutions at hand, and one big revelation that might just fix it.
🎬 About the Event
Australia’s housing system is broken - but it doesn’t have to be this way.
Join us for a screening of SOLD! Who Broke the Australian Dream, a powerful new film that shines a light on how our housing system has been shaped by politics, profit, and policy failure.
After the film, we’ll host a panel discussion with leading voices on housing justice. Together, we’ll explore what can be done right now to fix the housing crisis - and how you can be part of the change.
You’ll leave with practical actions you can take to push for:
✅ More public and community housing
✅ An end to unfair tax handouts that fuel the crisis
✅ A fair go for renters
