SheVibes: Level Up. From AI prototype to real product, business and security

You built the prototype. It works, mostly. Now what?

SheVibes: Level Up is the second step for women, non binary and gender diverse people who have already built something with AI and want to take it seriously. Whether that is a side project you want to share, a tool for your own business or the start of a startup, this is the morning you find out what it actually takes, from scratch, and start doing it.

Three things separate a weekend prototype from something people can rely on and pay for: a proper plan, a real business around it and security. We spend the morning on all three, with your own project as the material.

Part 1: Plan it properly

• Why a Product Requirements Document is the single biggest lever on what the AI builds, and how to write one that works

• Testing your PRD with AI as a product manager, QA lead and vibe coding expert before a line of code exists

• Milestones, rollbacks and why small steps cost fewer tokens and fewer headaches

• The trade offs nobody mentions: switching costs, code ownership, hosting, DIY versus a developer, and what to do when the AI gets it wrong

• Fast and cheap versus built to last: when to bring in a reviewer, a coach or a managed service, and when you genuinely do not need to

Part 2: Build a business, from scratch

A startup is not an app. It is nine things that have to work together, and most founders fix whichever one is loudest and ignore the rest. We walk the whole map so you know what you are signing up for.

• Purpose and strategy: what problem, for whom, why you, and why now. The questions customers, partners and investors ask first, and the honest answer to "is this a passion project or a business?"

• Governance and finance: the Australian basics of ABN, sole trader versus company, GST, insurance, what to set up now and what can wait, and how to know your numbers before someone else asks for them

• Marketing and performance: pricing, getting paid, finding the first ten customers, and the two or three measures that tell you it is working

• People, process and technology: doing it solo, when to bring in help, what to write down so the business survives you having a week off, and what you own versus what you rent from a platform

• An honest self check: where your idea is strong, where it is thin and the one thing to do first. You leave with it started, not just listed

Part 3: Keep it safe

• Cyber security for vibe coded apps in plain language: the common holes AI generated code leaves open and how to close them

• Data and privacy: what you collect, where it lives, what Australian privacy law expects of you and how to write a policy you can stand behind

• Keys, passwords and logins: the mistakes that get small apps breached and the five minute fixes

• Testing your own app for security with AI, then a checklist to run before anyone else uses it

Who this is for

You have been to SheVibes: Just Vibe, or you have built something with Emergent, Lovable, Base44, Claude, Cursor or a similar tool on your own. You want to go from "it runs" to "people can use it" and maybe "people pay for it". Bring the project.
