Shiatsu Yin Yoga
Event description
Shiatsu Yin Yoga combines the therapeutic benefits of:
Yin Yoga, through grounding shapes, sustained postures, and focused stillness
and
Japanese Shiatsu, through acupressure holds, gentle stretching, and meridian massage.
During the long holds of each yin yoga pose, Marina will offer hands-on therapeutic shiatsu and invitations for you to bask into presence, poetry, and Taoist wisdom.
This slow-paced, restorative practice is soothing and calming to the nervous system, deeply restful and nourishing to the body and mind, and suitable to all abilities and bodies.
The sequence will be tailored to the season of winter and will leave you feeling grounded, replenished, and attuned to both your inner rhythm and the rhythms of nature.
All props required for practice will be supplied. This is an intimate space for maximum 6 people. Secure your mat today.
About Marina Stumpf
Marina is a physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience specialised in the areas of neurosciences and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) rehabilitation. She is a shiatsu yin yoga teacher, an advanced breathwork practitioner, and a circle holder with somatics, trauma-informed training, contemporary dancing background, and extensive experience.
Marina is particularly passionate about guiding women back to their rhythm, embodiment, and essence, and has held space for hundreds of women both in-person and online.
