Shibari Performance Night with a Little Impact!

Shibari is the traditional Japanese Art of Rope.  It is a sensual, connective and communicative art which showcases the bond, trust and intimacy between two artists.  It will, at times, arouse you, amaze you and even draw a tear to your eye.  Prepare to be stunned by the skill of our artists as they amaze you with their work.  We are so lucky to present to you Akechi Kanna and Akechi Kagura - two of the most esteemed teachers of this art, all the way from Japan.  They are two of only a few professional shibari practitioners in the world and this is your chance to see why they rightfully claim their place at the top.  Their are supported by Supaku, their senior instructor who lives in Adelaide and two of our sydney local acts to warm you up and get you ready for what you can expect.  Do Not Miss This!!!

@nawashisupaku returns with the lovely @ktied._ and they are guaranteed to amaze you with skill, endurance, technical perfection and connective beauty. As always Sparks brings rope to life and mixes in his playful character and K will stun you with her ability, beauty and cheeky interactions.

Our headline act is a performance by the internationally acclaimed Naswashi Akechi Kanna and Akechi Kagura. Together they embody the beautiful suffering that is traditional Japanese Shibari. We are thrilled to have them return to our stage for your appreciation. A truly world class act by two of the foremost Shibari practitioners on the planet. An indication of the incredible talent of these two is that Kanna Sensei is teaching workshops over the weekend in addition to performing for you with the amazing Kagura san as his model for teaching and interpreter.
