Featuring Australian Idol Runner Up Finalist Phoebe Stewart and 13 Young Singer-Songwriters

Background:

In 2023, Busselton’s very own Phoebe Stewart finished runner-up in Australian Idol. 

Phoebe’s regular visits to Sydney allowed vocal coach, Sussane Siegrist, to re-connect with ARIA winning songwriter and producer Audius Mtawarira who has previously worked with renowned Australian artists like Delta Goodrem, Shannon Noll and Jess Mauboy.

Audius, with a good eye for talent, agreed to visit the South West of Western Australia writing, recording and collaborating with Phoebe. 
Many of Sussane’s other students quickly joined in the fun. 

The results were astonishing to the point where Audius returned to the South West five times in the short space of 16 months working with a select group of 15 students writing, producing and recording original songs.

Many of the songs were of such a high calibre that the idea of a tour was born - a chance to showcase the works providing valuable touring and performance experience as well as inspiring other students in the region.
