Shiraz and Jazz Train
Description
Join us on our inaugural Wimmera Shiraz and Jazz train.
Features include:
travelling through the western areas of Victoria on our heritage train with original Spirit of Progress compartment cars and the Parlor car plus the classic N Cars pulled by 2 heritage diesel locomotives
Day One: lunch, wine tasting and a tour of the historic underground cellars at Seppelt Great Western, a tour of the historic Stick Shed at Murtoa,
Day Two: a trip to Nhill that includes a visit to the Nhill Noske Silo, lunch at the Nhill Community Centre with meals from Nhill's Luv-a-Duck and music, finishing with a visit to the Nhill Aviation Museum before returning to Horsham
Day Three: an optional trip to Rainbow or spend a relaxing day in Horsham
Day Four: return home incl lunch
The train picks up at Seymour, Southern Cross and North Shore and we stay in Horsham for the three nights. Accommodation is in hotels based centrally in Horsham or you can choose rail only and arrange your own accommodation. Coach transfers to and from accommodation is included for the first class and excursion fares.
Refreshments (including a range of beers, wines and premixed drinks) are available for purchase in our kiosks. Please note: our liquor license does not permit BYO alcohol.
Rainbow Day Out
Enjoy the trip on this little used rail line out to Rainbow where we will be welcomed by the Rainbow community. Lunch options include:
lunch at Haydens Cafe (first sitting) or the Eureka Hotel (second sitting)
the Lions Club sausage sizzle in the main street.

Explore the newly opened Rainbow Silo and silo art
visit the historic Yurunga Homestead - $10/person.
A small bus will be available to move people around town.
