  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.

Event description

Craft a green gift for your families or friends before festival celebrations! 

Shirley Library, Bunnings Shirley and Richmond Community Garden jointly provide you an opportunity to make a personalised pot plant as a gift. 

This programme consists of two parts. Meet at Shirley Library to learn about taking care of pot plants, design your own pot decoration stickers, and participate in a scavenger hunt for your ticket. Then, you will go to Richmond Community Garden with the ticket to plant and decorate your pot. You are expected to travel between Shirley Library and Richmond Community Garden with your own transport to participate in two parts of programme activities. 

Ages: All Welcome - Children may require adult caregiver support/help.

Important information:

  • This programme consists of two parts  - participants are required to attend both locations and complete the programme during the set period.
    • Part one = Shirley Library, start at 1pm. Pot plant care, design pot stickers and scavenger hunt.
    • Part two = Richmond Community Gardens.  Participants will travel to the gardens to plant and decorate their pot.  Participants are required to provide their own transport.

  • Raincheck Day- If it is raining on Wednesday 13 December the event will be moved to Friday 15 December.
