Shopfront Business Grants Program Information Session

The City of Melbourne’s Shopfront Business Grants Program supports small businesses who are planning to lease and activate commercial shopfronts within the municipality.

Formerly a stream of the Business Growth and Impact Grants, this new initiative aims to reduce shopfront vacancy rates, stimulate the experience economy, and create memorable, engaging and innovative streetscapes. The grant round will be open for applications until June 30, 2027, or until funding is exhausted

This years' program is now inviting applications from businesses that are moving into a vacant, street facing property, to apply for funding of up to $20,000 (excluding GST).

The City of Melbourne is hosting an information session for businesses to learn about the application process, eligibility and assessment criteria, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
