ShoreNI Beachcombing at Ballyvester

Each tide leaves behind clues to the hidden life of our oceans, from delicate shells and sea-worn treasures to mysterious mermaid’s purses. Join Ulster Wildlife for a relaxed beachcombing session, where we’ll search the strandline together and discover the stories behind what the sea has washed in.

You’ll learn how to identify common shoreline finds, understand why the strandline is such an important habitat for coastal wildlife, and capture photographs that can contribute to citizen science and help build a better picture of our coast. 

• ~2 mile slow walk along sandy beach.

• please wear suitable clothing for the weather and sturdy footwear.
