ShoreNI Rockpooling at Donaghadee

When the tide goes out, a hidden world of fascinating marine life is revealed. Join Ulster Wildlife for a hands-on ShoreNI rockpooling session and discover the strange, colourful and cleverly adapted creatures that live between the tides. We’ll explore where to look, how to search carefully, and what makes these species so well suited to life in a place that changes with every tide. 

You’ll also have the chance to photograph and record what you find, helping to build a better picture of our coastal wildlife and how it is changing over time. 

• Short distance but over uneven and varied ground

• Please wear suitable clothing for the weather and wellies/boots.

• Feel free to bring along buckets, trays or nets if you have them

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
