Description

Join Ulster Wildlife in Whitehead for a refreshing autumn walk along the coast, discovering the wildflowers and hardy plants that continue to brighten the shoreline late into the season. We’ll take a closer look at the species found along the route and explore how they survive in this exposed, ever-changing environment.

Along the way, you’ll learn why the strandline is such an important habitat and record any plants still in flower. Your photographs and findings can help contribute to citizen science, building a better picture of our coastal wildlife in autumn.
