Short Interactive Te Tiriti o Waitangi Workshop - Waitangi ki Manukau 2025

Join us on Waitangi Day 2025 at Waitangi ki Manukau for a short, interactive workshop on Te Tiriti o Waitangi. 

Run by facilitators from Tangata Tiriti - Treaty People. The programme is a taster of our full workshop, covering:

• The political and economic context leading to a declaration in 1835 and the signing of a Treaty in 1840.
• An overview of a history of colonisation: Crown actions and Māori resistance

Attendance is free as part of the Waitangi ki Manukau festival. This session will take place in the Whare Kōrero tent.
