Show and Tell: Raising awareness of textile waste with St Patrick's Primary, Port Fairy and Wellington Secondary College.
Join us for an exciting and informative event where you'll discover creative ways to teach your students about the impact of textile waste.
Samantha from St. Patrick’s Primary School, Port Fairy, will share how she has raised awareness of the fast fashion industry with students through fun initiatives like the "Trashion Show" and the Newspaper Fashion on the Fields competition.
Bruna from Wellington Secondary College will also share her school’s efforts, including the Sustainability Fashion Sale and Repair event, using the pre-loved clothes donated by the school community and how the Sustainability Champions have been promoting circular fashion practices.
