Step back in time and enjoy a delightful morning of memories, laughter and conversation as local residents Jan, Nola and Merle share what it was like growing up in the Redlands during the 1950s and ’60s. Hear stories of shopping at the Despot corner store, Saturday movies, swimming adventures and the simple joy of a strawberry float.
Special guest John Dillon, local author of In My Opinion... This Is What I Know. Part 1, will also share his memories of visiting family in Cleveland during this era. His book captures personal reflections of life, people and places from years gone by, offering a unique glimpse into a changing Australia and adding another perspective to this nostalgic discussion.
