All Abilities JobMatch – Showcase Event

Real inclusion is built through the everyday decisions workplaces make: how a role gets designed, how a conversation gets started, what "support" actually looks like week to week.

Over the past twelve months, seven Queensland community services organisations opened their doors to interns with disability, supported by QDN Inclusion Consultants along the way. This online event brings their stories together, what worked, what it took, and what's next.

What you'll take away:

Real accounts of what worked (and what didn't) building disability inclusion from the inside

A practical menu of employer support you may not know is available

An honest look at how the Inclusion Consultant role has grown, and what's still being worked out

Practical takeaways you can apply in your own workplace, this week

Who should attend?

HR and workforce professionals wanting practical, tested approaches

Community services employers wanting to learn more about Inclusion Consultants

People with disability interested in employment pathways and lived-experience leadership

Anyone working toward more genuinely inclusive workplaces

On the program:

Deaf Connect on building inclusive communication from day one

Marlin Coast Neighbourhood Centre on adapting a role around real strengths and needs

AKG on recruitment support, disclosure coaching and post-placement support

Inclusion Consultants reflect on what's changed, what surprised us, and what more needs to be achieved.
