Event description

So often we’re told “show, don’t tell” in our writing, but what does that mean, and is it always true?

In this course, we will break down what is meant by “show, don’t tell”, what it looks like, how to apply it and when — including when not to. Award-winning author Nicole Hayes will draw on examples of when it works and when it doesn’t. Through guided exercises and handy tips, Nicole will guide participants in how to construct dynamic scenes that serve your story, and bring out your best writing.
