Si Vintners Biodynamic Farm Tour

Step behind the cellar door and experience the farm beyond the glass on our guided Biodynamic Farm Tour & Tasting. Over the course of an hour, you’ll explore the vineyard, biodynamic veggie garden and wider property, gaining insight into the rhythms of the season and the philosophy that shapes our farming and wines.

Each tour changes throughout the year depending on what is happening in the vineyard. From pruning and soil health to canopy growth, harvest and life in the veggie garden. Along the way, you’ll learn about biodynamic farming practices, the story of Si Vintners and the importance of place in everything we do.

You’ll also have the chance to meet our resident biodynamic veggie-growing veteran and encounter the animals that roam the property: sheep, ducks, geese and guineafowl, each playing their own role in supporting the farm ecosystem.

The experience concludes back at the cellar door with a guided tasting and deeper dive into the wines, exploring how the land and farming practices reveal themselves in the glass.

While dogs are very welcome at our cellar door, we kindly ask that they are not brought along on the farm tour. Children are welcome to join free of charge, however we do ask that they remain under close parental supervision at all times due to unfenced dams, farm animals and operating machinery on the property. We advise wearing comfortable and enclosed shoes. Tours will operate through the winery in the case of bad weather.
