Event description

Looking for a meaningful and fun activity for your child these school holidays?

Siblings Australia is excited to offer a special school holiday delivery of our nationally recognised SibWorks program — designed specifically for children aged 8–12 who have a brother or sister with a disability.

Join us at the Salisbury Community Hub on Tuesday, September 30, and Wednesday, October 1st, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On the final day, we’ll wrap up with a celebration at TreeClimb Salisbury, where parents will collect their child at 4:00 p.m. directly from the TreeClimb venue.

Led by a qualified SibWorks facilitator and generously supported by Variety SA, this two-day program provides a supportive and engaging environment for sibling children to connect with others who truly “get it.” Through fun activities, meaningful discussions, and shared experiences, participants will:

  • Learn more about disability and functional challenges

  • Develop positive coping strategies

  • Understand and manage tricky feelings

  • Feel less alone in their sibling experience

  • Build confidence and emotional resilience

Morning/afternoon tea and lunch are provided each day. Please let us know of any dietary needs when registering.

Cost: Thanks to the generous support of Variety SA, registration is just $100 per child for the full two-day experience (including the activity day at TreeClimb). Payment plans are available — if you'd like to arrange instalments, contact us at info@siblingsaustralia.org.au.

Places are limited — we require a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 participants to ensure a high-quality group experience.

Don’t miss this chance for your sibling child to build connections, strengthen their resilience, and have a whole lot of fun these school holidays!
