SIL registration is now mandatory. If you deliver Supported Independent Living, you must apply to register by 1 October 2026 to keep operating and audits take months, so the time to prepare is now, not September.
The self-assessment is the foundation of your whole application. Get it right and everything downstream gets easier. Get it wrong or miss the gaps you didn't know you had and you're heading for a non-conformity, or worse, a missed deadline.
