Banned Book week is October 4-10, a week that we celebrate the freedom to read. Birch Tree Books and Plants is partnering with The Silent Book Club of Leesburg and Libro.fm for a Read-In on October 4.
Bring your book from your TBR, or find a new one at Birch Tree and join us for quiet reading time from 5-7 p.m. Bring a camping chair, or use one of our folding chairs. We will have light snacks and drinks available.
Enter to win a prize for reading a book in the top 10 banned book list of 2025.
Each attendee will get a free audiobook copy of Danny Caine's newest book, How to Defend Books and Why.
