Event description
Enter your own realm of listening with our silent disco fundraiser! Receive a personal set of headphones on arrival, allowing you to craft your own musical journey. Featuring a collection of Whangarei's local and talented DJ'S you can dance like no one's watching with your own personalised set. Our silent disco head sets allow you to flick through multiple streams played by our LIVE DJ's. There will also be a jukebox channel for you to add your own music requests! Wanna hear some sunshine reggae? Or perhaps switch it up to something more funky? Craving some juicy basslines? We've an eclectic mix of musical genres all under one roof...or one sky! The Silent Disco will an indoor/outdoor event at the Quarry Arts Centre. Some kids activties will also be available throughout the disco! Get creative and step into our glow in the dark chalk room, or get some glowy facepaints.

Creative Northland are raising funds for ArtBeat 2024 -ArtBeat is Northland's largest FREE Interactive Arts Festival, welcoming the entire community to indulge and participate in a range of artistic wonders! With multiple diverse zones spanning across a 1km stretch of Whangarei's waterfront, there's something for everyone, from curious toddlers to music-loving teens, and art enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. ArtBeat 2024 will have live performances, interactive arts zones, immersive workshops, food and craft stalls. ArtBeat is a fun, FREE & fully inclusive family day out at Whangarei's most prominent Interactive Arts Festival in its 27th year!
