We’ll begin with a 15-minute welcome chat over tea or coffee, followed by 90 minutes of dedicated silent writing time. Afterwards, there’ll be a short post-writing conversation, with the option to stay on for more informal chats.

Keely Jobe is a writer of fiction and nonfiction living on the east coast of Lutruwita/Tasmania with her partner and two staffies. Her work has appeared in The Monthly, Island Magazine, Australian Geographic, and Cosmos. She has a PhD in English and Creative Writing from the University of Tasmania and is the nonfiction editor at Island Magazine. The Endling is her first novel.
Erin Hortle is the author of two critically acclaimed novels—The Octopus and I (2020) and A Catalogue of Love (2025)—and many essays. Her writing explores new ways of imagining human relationships with the more than human world and is often ocean facing.
