In a deeply disappointing and concerning move, the Australian Government has cancelled the visa of Knesset Member Simcha Rothman, preventing him from entering the country. This decision comes at a time when antisemitism in Australia has reached unprecedented levels, leaving many in the Jewish community feeling abandoned and ignored by their own government.

Despite this setback, the event will go ahead, with Simcha Rothman joining us live via video from Israel.

Simcha Rothman is a senior member of the Israeli government and currently serves as Chair of the Knesset’s Constitution, Law and Justice Committee. After completing his army service and Yeshiva studies, he pursued a career in law, holding a master’s degree in public law.

He is a compelling speaker who will be sharing words of support and solidarity with the Australian Jewish community, as well as providing a first-hand update on the situation in Israel.
