Simon Tedeschi
Simon Tedeschi is one of Australia’s most renowned classical pianists and a critically acclaimed writer. Recipient of the Young Performer of the Year Award, Creativity Foundation’s Legacy Award (USA), New York Young Jewish Pianist Award and a Centenary of Federation Medal, he has performed worldwide from the Sydney Opera House to Carnegie Hall.
Simon regularly performs with major Australasian symphony orchestras and has toured nationally with Musica Viva Australia. His recordings include The Gershwin Collection, Pictures at an Exhibition and Debussy – Ravel, which received a 2023 ARIA Award nomination for Best Classical Album.
Alongside classical music, Simon continues his forays into jazz, including performances with jazz violinist and vocalist George Washingmachine.
George Washingmachine
George Washingmachine is an entertainer, jazz violinist and vocalist who also writes music and plays guitar and double bass. He has performed at major festivals around Australia and toured extensively through Europe, Cuba, Singapore and the USA.
Closer to home, George has performed nationally in The Conductor & The Clown with George Ellis, toured with John Waters in Bob Dylan Revisited, and regularly performs with Simon Tedeschi. George is also a visual artist.
