Description

Dropped the kids at school? Come and spend the morning learning how to make fresh, wholesome bread at home without complicated recipes, special equipment or hours in the kitchen.

Join Denise for a relaxed, hands-on two-hour workshop where you’ll make three simple and versatile breads: seeded oat bread, focaccia and flatbread.

This workshop is all about making homemade bread fit into real life. You’ll learn how to handle and shape different doughs, understand proving times, build confidence with simple breadmaking techniques, and know what to do when your dough does not quite go to plan.

Denise will guide you through practical techniques you can use again and again at home, with plenty of time for questions, hands-on practice and tasting along the way.

What you’ll learn

  • How to make seeded oat bread, focaccia and flatbread

  • Simple dough handling, folding and shaping techniques

  • How proving works and how to fit it around your day

  • The benefits of oats, seeds and homemade bread

  • How to recognise what your dough needs at different stages

  • Practical troubleshooting tips for common breadmaking challenges

  • Ways to make fresh bread regularly without turning it into an all-day project

What’s included

  • All ingredients and materials

  • Hands-on tuition with Denise

  • Bread tasting during the workshop

  • Your own focaccia dough to take home and bake that evening or the next day

  • Recipes and practical tips to recreate all three breads at home

No fancy equipment. No complicated techniques. Just really good bread you can actually fit into everyday family life.

Perfect for beginners and anyone who wants homemade bread to feel genuinely achievable.
