PICK UP DATE/TIME: Wednesday April 30th 5:00 - 7:00 PM

LOCATION: Manhattan Hy-Vee Meat Department 

Looking for healthy take home meals? Look no further than your Manhattan Hy-Vee! We are offering our popular Simple Fix Meal Prep Class in a 100% To-Go format. Meals are carefully and safely prepped by Hy-Vee's nutrition team. We do all of the planning, shopping and clean-up, too. All you do is show up during the pick-up window to collect your meals and bring them home to cook/freeze. When you're ready to cook, prepare each meal with the instructions we have provided. It's as simple as that!

PICK-UP INSTRUCTIONS:

If you are not able to come during the listed pick-up window, you may come the following day to pick up your meals between 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM. Please grab a cart and locate the Meat Department at the back of the store. Any employee behind the service case can assist you in grabbing your box! Please let the employee know: 1) You have a Simple Fix Pick Up 2) Your First & Last Name. Please ensure your box has your name on the front. Inside, you'll receive your meals along with your recipe booklet.

What is Family Favorites? Family Favorites recipes are generally healthy combinations that are crowd pleasers among both adults and children. Recipes will emphasize meat, poultry, fish, dairy, whole grains, beans/legumes, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats. This class is a good choice for families or individuals without food intolerances looking for a well-rounded meal variety.

*Each meal contains 4 adult-sized portions.

  • Chicken Tinga
  • Chicken & Sausage Jambalaya
  • Moonlight Beef Fajitas
  • Chicken Enchilada Casserole
  • Cajun Roast Chicken & Potatoes
  • Slow Cooker Smoked Sausage & Peppers
  • Tangy Pulled Pork with Sauteed Apples

              OPTIONAL UPGRADE >> SIDE DISH PACK: Make your meal prep even easier! These additional items will allow you to have COMPLETE and even more well-rounded meals for several of your entrees. Feel free to use with whichever meals you want, but we've noted our pairing recommendations below!

                This month's side dish pack includes:

                • 1 bag Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Chicken Tinga)
                • 1 bag Shredded Lettuce (Chicken Tinga)
                • 1 box Quick Cook Brown Rice (Jambalaya)
                • 1 jar Mild Salad (Moonlight Beef Fajitas)
                • 1 bag Mexican Shredded Cheese (Moonlight Beef Fajitas)
                • 1 container Natural Sour Cream (Enchilada Casserole)
                • 1 bunch French Cilantro (Enchilada Casserole)
                • 1 box Quick Cook Jasmine Rice (Smoked Sausage & Peppers)
