Simple strategies for supporting HDR candidates’ mental health - HDR Supervision Development Workshop

Focus – This workshop will discuss the following points:

• recognising signs of mental health difficulties

• responding and suggesting support

• promoting positive psychological wellbeing

Lead – Dr Shari Walsh is an experienced psychologist and career development practitioner who has extensive experience working with HDR candidates, supervisors and academics. Shari focuses on assisting researchers build and maintain positive psychological wellbeing, effective communication and relationship skills, and career confidence during their research roles and beyond.
