Join us for the thrilling second year of the Sydney Seahorse Project! Building on the triumph of last year's Chowder Bay release, SIMS is set to introduce hundreds of White's seahorses into their new homes at Sydney Harbour and Gamay (Botany Bay).

Balmoral Beach Release

Dive into conservation on Wednesday, 12 June, at Balmoral Beach, where around 200 seahorses will make a splash! Earlier this year, we installed seahorse hotels just off the Balmoral public jetty. These unique underwater habitats have now colonised with algae, sponges, and other marine life, creating a perfect environment for our seahorses. Be there to see these charismatic creatures transition to their new bespoke homes!
