Singapore Showcase
Description
Sydney Southeast Asia Centre (SSEAC) and the Office of Global and Research Engagement (OGRE), invite you to the Singapore Research Innovation Symposium on Thursday 18 June 2026, 1pm-4pm.
This half‑day, in‑person symposium brings together University of Sydney academics, researchers and professional staff who undertake research in Singapore or with Singapore‑based partners. Singapore is one of the University’s most strategically important research countries, with strong engagement across disciplines and long‑standing institutional collaborations. This event responds to a clear need to convene this vibrant research community, showcase existing activity, and support new interdisciplinary and funding collaborations.
The symposium will feature a keynote on Singapore’s research policy and institutional landscape, a panel highlighting University of Sydney research engagement with Singapore, practical insights into funding and philanthropic opportunities, and dedicated time for facilitated networking. Light catering will be provided throughout the afternoon.
