In the face of unbearable grief, collective numbness, and growing injustice, many of us are left wondering: How do we show up?

Singing in Solidarity is a call to gather, grieve, and take action together as a community. This one-day vocal workshop and filming event is a grassroots offering from our hearts to the Palestinian people.

Hosted by Anna-Maria Flynn (Eclectica) and led by Joshua Moore (the Redwoods), we will teach and rehearse one of Joshua’s original songs, Blood on the Land, as a vocal choir piece. Together, we’ll record a powerful live video performance as a gesture of solidarity and remembrance.

💔 Why this event?

As genocide unfolds and a culture faces annihilation, we believe in the power of community ritual, artistic activism, and embodied prayer. This is a space to connect, express, and contribute. Every voice matters. Every dollar raised helps.

🕊 What to expect:

* Vocal warmups and harmony work

* Learn and sing a powerful original song together

* Collective prayer, space to feel and reflect

* Final group performance will be filmed and shared publicly to give others access to the vocal prayer

* Tea provided

🧡 No singing experience needed. Just bring yourself.

This is a non-profit event with all proceeds going directly to vetted emergency aid organisations supporting civilians in Gaza.

Even if it feels small in the grand scheme, this is a step in the greater song of solidarity. A reminder that your voice matters.

All proceeds from Singing in Solidarity will be donated to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) — a trusted humanitarian organisation working directly on the ground in Gaza.

MAP provides emergency medical relief, surgical supplies, and trauma care to Palestinian communities under siege. Their teams include local doctors, nurses, and medics already embedded in hospitals and clinics throughout Gaza, allowing them to continue life-saving work even under blockade.

We’ve chosen MAP because:

They are non-partisan, transparent, and deeply experienced in conflict zones.

They work in direct partnership with Palestinian health workers and NGOs.

They’re currently delivering urgent aid where it’s needed most, despite the severe restrictions.
