In this workshop:

This vocal workshop focuses on the art and joy of singing with others and harmonising.

Join Jessie May from PitchPlease as you learn how to find your harmony, blend voices, what to listen for and how to create a rich vocal arrangement as a group.
This workshop is guaranteed to have you smiling and singing out loud!
Everyone welcome, especially those who enjoy singing with others.
Musicians welcome to bring along instruments for a jam together at the end of the session.

People will learn: Vocal warm ups, what are harmonies, why are they important, how to form a harmony, how to find your note, vocal exercises, why the breath is important, improve your vocal technique and ear, when to form a harmony, learn a song together using harmonies and jam at the end.

Trying out workshops at Heartcote 2026

In 2026, we are offering ukulele and singing workshops to give ourselves the opportunity to stretch!
In each workshop, we will learn a song, and all workshop groups will be invited to perform on stage on Sunday.
Check with your workshop leader for performance time.
