IMRT CIWG | Getting the best out of SAP CMMS

This event has passed Register

Event description

The SAP Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) certainly is widely used across much of industry. Particularly with its transactional nature and integration into enterprise, business and accounting systems. However, due to its complexity, it is questionable whether all are utilising it to its best and particularly with the engagement of end users, trades and on the shop floor.

GSK are quite enthusiastic users of SAP for quite some years and happy to share what they are doing to get the best from SAP. They will share their experience including insights and learnings to get best out of SAP including on master data setup including both PM and Material Master along with a live walk though on how they have SAP setup including BOMS, Master Data and MRP.

At this workshop we will also have Origin Energy share on how they have defined (for all of Origin) the SAP asset class hierarchy, asset characteristics, and asset failure coding sets, using ISO14224-2006 “Petroleum Petrochemical and Natural Gas Industries - Collection and Exchange of Reliability and Maintenance Data for Equipment”. The presentation will show the SAP field mapping and practical drill-down examples using live data.

Come learn from GSK, Origin Energy and others, come share your experience and practices with others facing the same opportunities and challenges with the SAP CMMS. Come along to this event and discuss topics like

  • What data is recorded (breakdowns, PMs, Inspections follow ups)
  • What KPIs used, reports and analysis done
  • Safety integration (Permits, LOTO)
  • Engaging trades and end users
  • Mobility, use in the field and shop floor
  • Exporting, Importing linking to other data
  • Documentation, Stores/parts/inventory links
  • SAP features and useful add-ons or 3rd party apps
  • Tips and tricks
