Project Management covers a wide area of content. This event will be focusing on the parts of the process that ensure a smooth transfer of an new asset or process to Operations and Maintenance.
I have experienced in the past as a maintenance person where the first you find out that you have a new asset is when it fails. I have even had it that operations were not able to raise a work order because there was no asset in the system for that new piece of equipment.
In this event we want to explore what businesses have in their project management processes and systems that ensure that the asset/s are delivered in a way so that they can be efficiently and effectively operated and maintained.
Please come along willing to share what your business does to ensure a effective handover and also learn from others.
