Event description

Effective Change Management

No improvement happens without effective Change Management.

Managing CHANGE has to be core business competence. All leaders , not matter their level in the company, need to have some Change management capability .

Companies will need to be able to change quickly and successfully to succeed in today's competitive environment.

How the Change is introduced , communicated and implemented are keys for the Change success.

While the technical aspects ( business need, engineering benefits etc ) are often well managed the soft people aspects are key and often not given sufficient emphasis.  Well designed Change Management takes account of the people needs for the targets of the change, their needs and wants and the critical WIIFM (What's in it for Me ) from their perspective.

Effective Change must also be sustained. There is limited value in devoting resources and time to implement something that then falls by the wayside.

In this SIRF workshop , we will be covering things such as  :

 - Reasons for Change Resistance and Failure

- Keys to Successful Change

- Organisational Readiness for Change

- People and Organisation Capability for Change

- Models used to help guide the Change

It is a chance to discuss with your peers what has worked and what you has been learned from past Change initiatives

Come along , even if you don't yet have something to share but want to learn from what others are doing .
